David Werdiger, Chairman
David Werdiger is the founder and Chairman of Billing Bureau.
David has a background in software development and mathematics, and was the principal architect and developer of Billing Bureau’s first billing system in 1994. David’s role shifted from Managing Director to Chairman in 2007, with the establishment of an Advisory Board governance structure, and the appointment of a CEO. In addition to his strategic leadership role, David is a key member of Billing Bureau’s executive sales and marketing team.
David Werdiger is also an Australian Jewish Philanthropist and a Director of Australian Jewish Funders, a Jewish blogger, a commentator on Australian Jewish affairs, a past director and current committee member of JewishCare and a Director of a number of technology and telecommunications businesses including KISS Mobile and Telecoms Buying Group. He’s a regular writer on Times of Israel, News and Views from Jews Down Under, and the Algemeiner, and is a public speaker in his spare time.

Paul Smyth, CEO
Paul is an engineer with more than 30 years experience covering operational, executive, software development & university lecturing roles. He has worked for a multinational telco where he was a key player in major billing system implementations. He has also run his own software engineering firm which specialised in designing, building and operating billing systems for both domestic and overseas telcos and major financial institutions.
Paul practiced law for nineteen years at the national law firm, Freehills, in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, including a secondment to the London law firm, Slaughter and May.
Paul has extensive experience in listed public company affairs, funds management, managed investment schemes, finance, corporate law, strategic corporate advice, capital raising, acquisitions, divestments, and negotiation and establishment of joint ventures.
